"Being a Hospice of Spokane Volunteer has allowed me the opportunity to open the door for people who are not aware of what is available to them at a critical time in the life of the family. This is a life-giving experience for me as well as the person receiving the gift of hope."
--Hospice of Spokane Volunteer

Hospice of Spokane has served the terminally ill and their families in Spokane County since 1977 when it was created by five dedicated volunteers. Today, volunteers still form the backbone of the organization. As a hospice volunteer, you will become part of a health care team, consisting of the clients own physician, hospice medical directors, nurses, social workers, therapists and chaplains. Because there are so many ways to serve, you have a choice of how you may use your skills.
